About God's Garage

God’s Garage originally started in July 2004 in response to the needs of people we came across whilst drinking in pubs around Greater Manchester whilst on the road with God’s Squad Christian Motorcycle Club.

It’s worth us stating at the outset that God’s Garage isn’t just a place for bikers. Many of the people we come across are not bikers at all. Many share the same feelings and concerns as our mates in the bike scene and so God’s Garage has always been a place where all are welcome.

Many of the people we came across were very open to the message of who Jesus was, but were quite adamant that they would never go to church. Many of our friends were clear that they did want somewhere where they could feel comfortable and able to talk about where they were at with their faith and / or have the option of talking to someone about the problems they were facing in their lives without feeling judged.
