The comfortable surroundings came in the form of Howie’s Garage, consisting of bikes, a few comfy chairs, a few drinks and some food, and into this scene we introduced God without any apologies or any need for apologies.

The group has always tried to offer practical support to each other in terms of fixing motorbikes, DIY etc and as the group began to evolve the idea of coming to a garage not only to work on your bike, but also to work on the bigger issues in our lives began to develop. As well as getting your bike serviced we could also help each other to connect with God and get a "service for the soul".

Since the group started there has always been a healthy attitude of learning together through debate and questioning. We have tried from the outset to create a safe and sacred place where we could feel free to ask all those questions that we either felt too stupid, too embarrassed or perhaps to ashamed to ask elsewhere.
